Q: Why are you affiliated with The Champions Fund, and how does that affect donations to 4-Hearts?
A: Rather than incur the expenses of operating on our own as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, we chose to leverage a larger organization. TCF is a full 501 c(3) that we operate under - this way any monies donated are fully deductable according to IRS regulations. We pay TCF a small amount to support us, much less than if we had to meet all the government regulations on our own.
Q: When I click on the "Donate Now" button, I see that only 97% of my funds go to you - where does the other 3% go?
A: The 3% is a fee charged for using your credit card. Note that you can donate via cash or check. Please contact any one of the 4-Hearts for more information.
